I’m a huge fan of social media. If I could spend all night on Pinterest, I probably would. I first heard of photographer, Sharon Montrose, not by her name but by her work. I kept coming across this particular group of animal prints on Pinterest. I thought the animal theme was a cute group, so I pinned it and moved on. Later I found out that this is Molly Sims nursery, see the full post, here.
Then, I loved the blog feature of Max Wanger (my favorite photographer) and Margaux’s minimalist nursery for baby, Dash. Sharon Montrose’s baby elephant showed up, but I didn’t make the connection. I just thought it was another cute animal print.
It wasn’t until this nursery surfaced on Pinterest that I started to wonder who was behind this animal print craze. I was surprised to learn that these are actual animal photos and not illustrations.
By the time I pinned this Sissy and Marley nursery design, the search was on for image creator. I expected to find an Etsy illustrator, but instead I found an animal photographer. This made the photographer part of me very happy.
I’ve blogged about more of her animal photography on my photography blog, here.
