The first 9 months of parenting is all about nesting and shopping for your little one. And then that’s when you realize that it takes some work to find the “good” stuff – things that are well-designed, functional and affordable. I work as a wedding and portrait photographer, so I have a natural eye for composition and design.
When I was pregnant, I did a lot of searching, shopping and pinning until I found shops and brands that I liked. So here I am to share my finds like Boon, Bloom, Kee-Ka as well as support my local (Texas) community and independent shop owners (around Etsy and the web).
Becoming a parent also made me rethink every aspect of my life and what kind of parent I want to be. I did not fit into a parenting mold (Green, Attachement, Instinctive, Authoritive), but I knew there were other parents like me.
Read the post that started it all.  Please continue to share in the topics and discussions on the blog, twitter and Facebook pages. Find inspiration on our Pinterest boards and Instagram (thislittlenine) shots…enjoy!

  1. I love your sight! And I love the font yo used on “this little nine!!” I would LOVE to make my daughter a love sign with this font. Would you be willing to tell me what it’s called? Thanks for your website! Love it!

    • Sara, thank you for checking the site out. It’s still a work in progress, but I have a ton of ideas for things I want to feature. The font you are looking for is HaloHandletter. Connect with me on Twitter or Facebook, so I can see the finished sign.
